ZippyPaws: How to Make Frozen Peanut Butter Yogurt Dog Treats

In today’s video I will be showing you how to make Frozen Peanut Butter Yogurt Dog Treats

You will need a ¼ measuring cup
A microwave safe bowl
1 cup of yogurt
Some all natural peanut butter
A measuring tool for the yogurt
And some cupcake baking cups

We are going to start by measuring out ¼ cup of peanut butter scooping it into a microwave safe bowl.

We will then place the peanut butter in the microwave for 30 secs to a minute depending on the power of your microwave to melt it down into a liquid.

As the peanut butter is melting measure out 1 cup on yogurt. Try to only buy natural non-fat yogurt with no extra sugars. Plain or basic fruit like strawberry or blueberry are the best.

Once your peanut butter is all melted take it out of the microwave and pour in the yogurt.

Begin stirring it until it all becomes a smooth consistency.
Grab your cupcake baking cups and begin laying them out.

Spoon in as much into each as you would like depending on the size of your dog.

Place them in the freezer overnight and they are ready!

Yogurt is a source of calcium and protein for promoting bone and muscle health.

Yogurt also contains potassium, a mineral that acts as an electrolyte to preserve an ideal balance of fluid in your dog’s body.

This is a great way to keep them cool in the summer time and healthy as well!
