Subscribe and save is a recurring auto-ship pricing model offered by Chewy, Amazon, and most direct-to-consumer brand stores. The discount ranges from 5 to 35 percent off the regular price. Subscribe and save is almost always the cheapest way to buy the same food long-term. The catch is that you commit to receiving the food on a fixed schedule, and you have to remember to skip orders if your dog's consumption changes. Most subscribe and save programs let you skip, pause, or cancel any time without penalty. The savings on a year of premium kibble can easily be $100 or more.
